ECO4 in Haverfordwest usually needs someone in the household to claim a qualifying benefit, such as Universal Credit, Pension Credit or Child Benefit, and an owner-occupied home rated EPC D to G (E to G if privately rented). Some councils also run LA Flex routes that widen eligibility to lower-income households not on benefits. ECO4 runs until 31 December 2026.

How much can solar panels save households in Haverfordwest?
It depends on how much of the solar electricity is used in the home and on the export rate. For the Smart Export Guarantee, the better fixed rates are around 12–13p per kWh (indicative, October 2026). Where a scheme pays for the system, there is no install cost to recover.
